The listing fee is $200 for a six-month listing term. Renewal is $10 for an additional six months.
Listings are for one property only and are not transferable.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your listing.
Your listing includes the delivery and installation of a yard sign, which remains the property of c-villebyowner.com. We will deliver and install the sign approximately 2-3 business days after receiving your payment. We will also deliver one directional sign, which you are responsible for installing. c-villebyowner.com is not responsible for accidental injury to person or property involving the sign or its placement. You agree to mark a safe place to install the yard sign and agree that c-villebyowner.com is not responsible for damage to underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or invisible fences due to the placement of the yard sign.
In order to maintain the integrity of our web site, you agree not to sign a contract with a real estate agent during the time in which you are listed on c-villebyowner.com. If you decide to list with a real estate agent you must notify us and your property will be removed from our web site.
Your listing term expires when you take your property off the market, the property sale closes, you list with a real estate agent, or the listing term reaches six months, whichever occurs first. You are obligated to keep c-villebyowner.com informed as to the status of your listing. Please email info@c-villebyowner.com with status updates. Once the listing term expires, we will pick up the yard sign within five days. Please leave the sign easily accessible, preferably propped up against the side of the house. If all signs provided by c-villebyowner.com are not made available for pick-up or found to be damaged beyond normal wear and tear, the credit card you used to set up your account at c-villebyowner.com will be charged $100. If you paid by check, you will receive a bill from c-villebyowner.com in the mail.
The service term is continuous. You must pay a new listing fee to reinstate a property that has been removed from the website.
Upon an accepted contract on the property, you agree to add an “under contract” rider, which we provide, on the yard sign. As closing approaches, you agree to replace that rider with one that says “Sold,” which we will also provide.
You agree to notify us at info@c-villebyowner.com immediately following the real estate closing so that we may pick up our signs and change the status of your property on our site to “Sold.”
All sales are final.
We do not include delivery of signs for properties outside of Charlottesville or Albemarle County. Those outside of Albemarle County may contact us to make arrangements to pay a deposit and pick up a sign to self-install. Or, we will deliver for an additional fee. Please contact us for an estimate based on your address.
