8. Negotiate a price and contract with a buyer
A buyer who decides to make an offer on your house will give you a signed Contract of Purchase, detailing the offered price and other contingencies of sale. You can accept the offer and sign it, creating a Sales Contract between you or you can counter their offer with a different price or altered contingencies. Once you both sign the agreement, it becomes a binding legal document and you cannot accept another contract from a different buyer.
