List your home

Be as specific as you can when listing information about your house.  Buyers want details – tell them if you have granite countertops, original heart pine flooring, custom tile in the bathroom, maple cabinetry, a two-car garage, built-in speakers, an herb garden, or whatever qualities your home has that distinguishes it from others on the market.  Be persuasive and descriptive.  You want your home to be irresistible, so that buyers feel like they should just drive by.  (Then, you’ll really convince them with the incredible job you’ve done touching up paint, mowing your lawn and planting colorful flowers.)  Avoid general adjectives, such as “wonderful” or “charming” – they are a signal that maybe this home doesn’t have enough specific attractive qualities to list.

Take exterior and interior pictures of your home and upload them to the website.  For an additional fee, we’ll come to your house and take your photos for you.  Make sure that rooms are spotlessly tidy and well-lit when you photograph them.
